Is there any possibility of obtaining a discount on school taxes for buying from an already overpriced chain that limits sales to students?

There can also be occasional problems with the ordering pads being out of service. Additionally, the software sometimes removes items from the menu unexpectedly, so you may need to ask for them manually.
