Pizza is amazing any of the food we've had has been above and beyond. I will say they are little heavy on sauce for wings and pizzas a little extra greasy but the flavor is there was absolutely amazing and the owner seems very happy to help the guest just an overly friendly guy.Parking: It's in a small stop shop area but the other shops always seem closed so there's always plenty of parking. What Ruth A doesn't like about Mattyq’s:
Grilled Chicken and Bacon Sub was extremely dry and the bacon was bacon bits or like bacon bits, and the cheese was not melted. The Philly Cheesesteak was extremely dry as well. It was so bland. The Texas Tenderloin was so hard to hard to even eat. The Deep Fried Pickels is amaizing. First time here and won’t be the last! This is a fabulous small business. My pizza was hot and so good. Better than every chain.
First time customer and won’t be the last time. There is no reason why this pizza shop shouldn’t be open for a very long time. Pizza surpassed expectations. It’s the best pizza in Troy. Pizza took a little longer then what they said it would, but not by much.
Tried for the first time tonight. Incredible. The Detroit style is like a lasagna and a pizza had a love child. Tried the garlic sticks and they were amazing. Will definitely eat here again, probably my favorite pizza in town now.
First time trying it tonight and everything was fantastic! It smelled so good on the drive home and we couldn’t wait to dig in. We ordered a Detroit style pizza and it was delicious! We also got garlic breadsticks and they were fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
The food is AMAZING!!! This is by far the BEST pizza I've had in a while! They have an extensive menu, but I would recommend you try the chicken bacon ranch pizza, the pretzel bites and the deep fried pickles. It will not disappoint!The owner, Matt is always making sure you have the best experience possible! His family friendly atmosphere is a very nice change of pace from other restaurants in today's world.I have little to no complaints except for the prices, but matt makes up for it with high quality ingredients.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. He has some toys for children and cartoons on, and it's a very family friendly environment.Dietary restrictions: He has cauliflower crusts and no crust pizza bowls.
