It was a busy Saturday and our party of 5 still had good service. I was the only one that ordered a cocktail and it was very good. I also ordered the pecan encrusted trout and it was excellent. The others all seemed to like their food, except one order of fries were cold. Everyone including myself thought the mac cheese had an odd flavor. They didn't have a kids menu. Ordered the Cypress salad because the cornbread croutons are so delicious and the total was $26. Of course they forgot the croutons : I have never called a restaurant to ask for a refund before but at almost $30 for a salad because of the tip and packaging fee and they forgot the croutons? I had to call and talk to the manager, she was fantastic! She was professional, understanding and helpful! View all feedback.

Overrated. Calamari and shrimp appetizers below average. Medium well steak slightly burnt on one side. For the money will pass next time. Will be happy to get back to Texas...they know how to cook steak.

I write this review as a waitress of 20+ yrs and client service in fin tech for 15+ yrs.Service was bad. Table next to us who was sat about a min after us had drinks and queso as we still waited on waters and queso we ordered with waters. Had to ask for things a few times. Clearly forgot to put our order in as we noticed her standing, looked at us and had a omg moment and ran off.Salads came within 2 minutes of getting our app. I prefer to eat appetizers first and requested salads after our app. We wanted to relax and enjoy an evening.Prime rib was so fatty and a horrible cut of meat that 1/3 of the plate was fat. Lacked flavor. Kicker was when our waitress asked for the first time how our food was when we were done I shared my feedback on the prime rib. She never came by so ate what we could cutting around fat.When she stated “why didn’t you say something when I came by? Can I get you one to go?” I held my tongue as I wanted to tell her she never came by after our meal was brought by food runners.Asked for the check. Table full of plates. She brought the bill, gave her the card. 5 min later came by asking if we got the bill from “him” then she pulled out same bill and handed it to us. I kindly told her you have his card in your apron. Dirty dishes taken away after she brought back the card she ran.I get a mistake or off night but many blunders, she didn’t bring any good to our table as food runners did. As a frequent visitor over the years the quality has slid and we will not go back.It’s a mall restaurant and not the caliber it used to be.
