What a place! Delicious food and dang can get you everything from the menu that you wish veg or vegan, as far as I could say it. The games! Give me the ball and the shuffleboard, then I wind with my ol pal peter pepper in the arcade corner. Good games, good drinks, good engraving is a good time for friends. View all feedback.
What Florian Schowalter doesn't like about Franklin Alley Social Club:
Kind of rude staff. I understand the stress of working at a bar, but we were treated very poorly out of any bar I’ve been around here. Specifically by the girl behind the coin bar. Shout out to the amazing bartenders tho! View all feedback.
Cool place to hangout, drink with friends and play a few games! The staff is really the best! Ellen keeps the play area smooth with coins and games ready with a bright smile! Frank (the owner) is the sweetest guy ever and treats everyone with kindness and respect. The bartenders are masters of mixing the best drinks! My favorite weekend place!
This is the low key place for hanging, drinking and playing! You keep it clean and organize for everyone to have a great time and do not have to worry about one thing as soon as you have decided. Beverages are perfectly strong and the pommes crispy! Shout to Ellen to quickly support and delete the shuffle board between games. You even enjoy Thursday evenings!
FASC is one of the coolest bars you'll ever see. Bocce, Shuffleboard, Arcade Games, AMAZING Cocktails, great beer and food. High suggest the impossible points and a mango mezcal margaritas!!!
This has got to be one of Troys best kept secrets. I somehow heard of this bar online and saw that they have shuffleboard and bocce. Who doesnt like a good game of bocce? So when me and my middle aged dad bod friends decided to get together for our night out, I suggested this place. First of all it was a little hard to find. Literally it is in a alleyway that runs between State Street and Broadway. It is located behind the Bank if America. No large neon sign, just some teal doors and a small sidewalk sign advertising shuffleboard, bocce and arcade games. We all finally found it, and descended down the stairs into this modern day subterranean speakeasy of libations and games. The Franklin Alley Social Club is a very chill, relaxing and low key place. There are flamigo decirations everywhere, and the table and chairs are lawn furniture. They have a great drink menu, and are known for their margaritas and cocktails. If you are vegan, your in luck as they serve up their alley burgers made with impossible plant based meatless pattys. I had the cheesetastic burger, which was a knife and forker. So good that this non vegan didnt mind it at all. Other menu items include pizza, chicken tenders (fresh made to order), poutine, tots etc. Its barfood with a twist. This is not really a dinner place, more of a lets get drinks, play games, hangout and have some snacks. The Franklin Alley Social Club deserves their 5 star rating because of the friendly atmosphere they strive to create for their patrons. This is a spot to hit up with friends on your next night out in down town Troy.
This is a nice fun place to hang out and drink with friends. The arcade brings memories back to us original gamers. There's music in the speakers and games like shuffleboard to entertain the slightly tipsy. Also, there are good drinks, great selection of beer on tap, and good bar food, served in large trays and plates to share. The only criticism is that no little plates are provided to do the sharing without double dipping... We had a nice time overall, and I'd come back.
