We love places that have ?home cooked? meals. The decor is very outdated and bathrooms could definitely be renovated to not feellike a truck stop. But, definitely a great little country gem that shouldn?t be missed.

This place doesn?t look like much from the outside, and after a long hard day of digging holes in the hot sun, I didn?t know if thiswas the meal stop for me or not. I?m so glad I did. Bar-none the best pork chop I?ve ever had!!! The cornbread was sweet and onpoint, the Mac-n-cheese was delicious too. This place has a vibe (not the typical kind but good). The owners were nice andfriendly and so was the waiter. Plus the price was fantastic. If you are anywhere close to this place ?STOP AND EAT!? And thewaiter mentioned the fried chicken was better. What!?! I will be back!

While the burgers were good, they definitely weren't worth the price $80!! . If I wanted to spend that much, I'd go to Texas Roadhouse! I think they've gotten a little big for their britches. This is just a little podunk diner and none of the food is veryspecial.

Flys everywhere buzzing around face and food. Place is dirty and decor is from 1960s and never been updated. Shrimp cocktail was warm and mushy. Egg roll was a spring roll. You got one small frozen spring roll. They clearlydidn't have enough help. One waitress kept taken dirty dishes from one table and put them on another table. Some patrons tookthere chicken back because it was still raw inside. Another patron said he wouldnot recommended ordering the chicken. Waitresscomes out with 2 of our dinners and then puts one of the plates back, brings my husband's dinner and doesn't say anything aboutwhere my dinner is. I sit there for another minutes waiting for my dinner. Husband got a fried seafood platter and had to takethe fry off of the fish to eat it. When my dinner came out, it was wrong. I ordered baked potato with my sirloin, receivedvegetables. I told waitress I ordered baked potato, she said she would look into it and never came back. Sirloin had no flavorto it. No seasoning. We will never come back. It was disgusting to say the least.

You can tell the mashed potatoes are made fresh and from real potatoes not like other restaurants. At this time they are redoing the floors a little messy BUT it is really looking great. Parking lot looks like it has been redone and looks great also. Since the new management took over this place has turned around restaurant looks great and the food is great. We will be back ?UPDATE Nov 2nd 2023Looks like there are a few new things the restaurant alone with new menu and prices. IDK if the food is different or just a different cook on this day but it was really good. (It's always good food) long story short go to this locally owed restaurant and enjoy great food and great service. Side note they was really busy when we went only had one waitress but she was really fast. She needs a raise.UPDATE Aug.9th 2023The restaurant is under new management. By what I see and can tell the new management is great. The restaurant looks a lot cleaner and no more broken seats. The food is really good I even asked was the onion rings home made because they was different and so good but I was wrong they are not BUT they are so good I can't say that enough. The mashed potatoes with gravy was the first time I have never had to add S&P to restaurant made potatoes mmm mmm. Long short longer lol if you haven't been or it's been a long time since you been you really need to go. 5 stars ? ? ? ? ? we will be back!!UPDATE 10/03/22:There was only one waitresses working and there was a some what big group that got in before we did. With that being said as the only waitresses I think she did a GREAT. Had that group and a few other tables and it felt like it was just us a a couple of tables. She needs a raise.Great place for a country cooked meal.UPDATE: Been awhile since I have been here. They have new booths now and a couple more tables. The food and service is the same always great. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal or bad service before.
