Bella Pizza Italian - TROUTVILLE

It is a quiet place but very full of authenticity and good food. I had ordered the caprese pizza for a quick bite on my road trip, and I was very pleased that I had chosen Bella Pizza. And the little bonus of getting a small piece of caprese before my pizza even came out really was impressive and creative. Wish I had one closer to me. Excellent experience overall this evening. The staff was outstanding. How we found this place: I did a Google search of Italian restaurants near our hotel; there were several, but we liked the look of this menu on the Bella website. (Firstly, don’t let the exterior of the building (non descript strip mall off an exit influence your decision to go. The interior is comfortable, casual and welcoming especially because of the staff. It was clear during our visit that to go orders are very common. And, there were plenty of customers coming/going, so this hidden gem of a restaurant has a following. The food: Our server brought us 2 little plates of perfectly presented and tasty bruschetta, a pleasant surprise. My husband enjoyed the lasagna dinner with a glass of wine, and I also enjoyed my spaghetti with tomato sauce. We shared the meatball appetizer, and I put 2 of the meatballs on my spaghetti. The prices were fair, we thought, especially since a lovely salad and homemade breadsticks were included. The breadsticks were so fluffy and tasty! We treated ourselves to a piece of limoncello cake for dessert wow delightful. We don't live in VA, but if we travel here again, we’ll definitely return to this restaurant and maybe try the pizza next time. Thank you, Bella Italian!

This place is amazing, the employees are patient and kind. Catered to our customizations. l The food is amazing and seems to be prepared with magic! Honestly best Alfredo pizza we have ever had.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the general competency of the person on the other end of the phone placing my take out order. Feelings weren't either confirmed or dismayed once I arrived at the establishment.The pictures available on Google maps paint a clear picture of the generally bland expectations you can expect to be met from the provisions prepared by the handful of Italian food restaurant vendors that provide the product. I'm sure the food provided is cooked and served with reasonable expectations met on a general basis. Fast food Italian made from the provision, again, from the half dozen vendors that supply the product across the country.After I spent sixty bucks on my takeout and drove to the nearest rest area, I'm left staring at the provided product without any utensils. Looks, decent, as to be expected. I'm sure the food meets minimal and reasonable expectations...I sure am hungry and would like to eat it.
