A wonderful experience in Tropea. Excellent value for money (certainly the best of our stay), impeccable service, and always with a smile, as is typical in Tropea. We highly recommend it.
A great restaurant in Tropea Old Town, especially known for their steaks. I had the Grilled Tournedos from Beef with truffle and sides, amazing! Nice atmosphere in an alley and perfect service. We really recommend a visit.
Amazing restaurant in Tropea! The place offers a typical Calabrian gastronomic experience and the food is of the highest quality. I wish I had spent more time in the region so I could return to this restaurant more often!
Somewhat hidden in the old town. Great atmosphere, very delicious food.
Stopped there for lunch by chance. Nice place to sit. Excellent service, sometimes a little rushed, but incredibly friendly and professional. The food was a dream. Finely balanced sauces, superbly presented, and beyond unbelievably delicious. There was also a charming welcome from the kitchen and, to finish, a limoncello on the house. It was perfect all around. One last tip: listen to the daily special. My ravioli was heaven on earth.

Excellent service .. our waitress was genuinely happy to give us the best dining experience. The baked l’Orata catch of the day) was obviously freshly caught and delicious with sliced baked potatoes . The Cannolo dolce casa) being homemade was really worth trying .. so was the local Amaro digestivo . Excellent value for money !
The carpaccio di gamberi with truffle oil and cheese is the best taste-experience I have ever had! You also have to try the carbonara al pescatore. Delicious ????
Amazing food with a local spin on it! Try Carbonara Tropea, you will not regret it!

Warning! This restaurant serves leftovers! The first thing to happen, was that we where brought dishes meant for another table. Our daughter had ordered grilled shrimps, and when served a similar dish, she began eating. When the servers became aware of their mistake, they brought the plates directly to the correct table. Even after we told them, that we had begun eating from them.. When they brought us our order, the grilled shrimps where stone cold. We told the waiter, and he clearly just microwaved them (they where back in two minutes). Then we noticed that two of the shrimps had been eaten at!! This is beyond anything we have ever, ever experienced! Clearly they simply gave us the leftovers from another guest. We are still reeling. Unbelievable! We complained, and the waiter was very sorry. And said that they would make it up to us, by not charging us for the shrimps!?! Well thank you very much.. None of us where very much interested in continuing the meal at this point. So we left almost full plates, and glasses. But they still charged us for the entire meal, minus the shrimps.. I mean.. What on earth is going on in this place? Beware! This place is food poisoning waiting to happen. The saving grace is that we noticed the half eaten shrimps early enough to leave the meal, and this awful place behind us.
If it was not for Alessandro who we met in the Square outside of our apartment, we would never have found this little hidden gem! He was so friendly welcoming we returned the next night! The excellent front of house was followed by the equally friendly table service from Gaia not to mention, chef Roberto, who produced fabulous food. One of us is vegan chef Roberto was very accommodating which was much appreciated. The steak was excellent great value for money. The recommended local wine was a superb choice. We look forward to returning again!
My spouse and sister took our two nieces here for dinner and had an awesome experience. They made my niece feel like a movie star and the food and service were over the top. perfect!
I had several meals at the restaurant. Many other restaurants were too salty but this one was very tasty and good. People were friendly and knew stuffs!
Excellent restaurant, very good Italian cuisine and excellent fish dishes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent spoken English. Beautiful Tropea, and this restaurant accompanied me on this wonderful holiday for several nights, allowing me to taste local things.

Loved this restaurant so much we went back the next day. It was very quaint and hidden from the main thoroughfare which had many people walking by. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Quaint restaurant off the beaten path. It felt like we were locals instead of tourists. The staff was very friendly and our food came super fast as compared to some other restaurants in Tropea. The mussels marinara (cozze) were delicious. Some of the best I ever tasted. Plan on returning there tonight.
