The portions were huge and food was great... read more I love this restaurant, right by the beach great seafood. I never go in July/Aug it's just too hot and busy in Tropea. The portions were huge and food was great. I had Caprese and Peche spada and a huge mixed salad. The house was was a bit too sharp for me so maybe oeder a bottle of red/white. It's so cheap any way. It was our first and the last visit, we ordered antipasto dello chef, only the first bite was enough, the food tasted horrible, as if it stayed in the fridge fo... read more It was our first and the last visit, we ordered antipasto dello chef, only the first bite was enough, the food tasted horrible, as if it stayed in the fridge for days. Plus the smoked-like, terribly stinky fish, that made me feel sick. When I told the waiter that it was inedible and asked for sth else, they replied „if you don’t like it it’s a thing, if it’s not good it’s another thing”, whatever it meant. When I said I was not going to pay for the food, I was threatened with the police. A place to avoid for sure!

Didn’t plan on eating here but laziness set in so we decided not to venture out. Great decision the pizzas were great and the calzone could easily feed two. Prices were also very reasonable and service quick and efficient. Only had one quibble and it has nothing to do with the food, which was great. Umbrellas and loungers are packed so close to each other, you could barely walk between then, not to mention the proximity to other beachers was mere inches. Been to many beaches, never seen the umbrellas packed in like this place! Parking, umbrellas and two loungers, €20.
