Terrible restaurant. Terrible quality, stained cutlery and glasses. Classic menu for tourist dishes without highlighting the typical products of the area, stale bread from the day before and poor quality dishes. Complete menu of pizzas which are not made for lunch, too bad it is not specified. This place is deplorable, the food is very little, those who serve are super rude and rude, it seems like they hate serving customers. The hot drinks, the bread they brought us was 5 small slices for 3 people, you could see it was the bread that was left over from another table. They charge 2 euros for table service (which doesn't exist), we spent 76 euros for a plate of fried calamari (9 pieces), three plates of pasta (very small quantity), two cans of soft drink and a large soft drink. A shame to be in the center of Tropea. It was the first time we went to a place without looking at the ratings first, and having so many bad reviews I'm surprised how they don't try to improve the place. Let's start from the assumption that it is the owners who serve, I recommend that they look for employees who are suitable for a nice place and who improve the portions and quality of the food, otherwise it is better to close the restaurant and dedicate themselves to something else. We went on Saturday for lunch. Fixed meat menu for €20. Tropean filejas are delicious. Excellent value for money. A gem they had, perhaps little publicized given the goodness (that's why 4 stars for the service), was the famous Pizzo truffle. I even forgot to take a photo it was so good.
