If you're arriving by train and in need of a meal, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more welcoming option than Røft. With generous portions, affordable prices, and friendly staff that are accommodating to non-Norwegian speakers (like those from Britain), it's a great choice. The middle seats with their slightly eclectic decor are a nice touch, similar to other independent restaurants, and offer great quality food for travelers.

The service was pleasant, I have never seen it crowded, and the kitchen was fast and good. I highly recommend trying the salads, and suggest requesting the corner table 64 for a cozy dining experience.
