Bula Bistro - Trondheim

Absolutely fantastic dinner in the centre of Trondheim. We went for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The restaurant is very casual (which we loved) quite trendy bohemian (which we also loved). They serve 2 tasting menus and we opted for the 5 course menu which actually included 3 additional small courses, so in theory we ended up having 8 courses! Each course was mouth watering, and the service staff were brilliant attentive, casual, friendly but professional. It is obvious that every single person who works here is passionate about what they do. The food here, in our opinion, is of Michelin star standard (although they don't have a Michelin star). Completely brilliant all round. If you are a foodie, you must visit!

What an experience! The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I want to thank the restaurant for giving me and my husband a fantastic evening and a great dining experience.

The service is relaxed, fun but impeccable and the food absolutely delicious, balanced and creative. We had the 5 course menu and it did not disappoint. It is simply absolute heaven and we cant wait to get back.

Great dinner with amazing juice pairing! We had a 5 course dinner and had a really nice evening: all the ppl working there gave us such a warm welcome they had great knowledge about everything we got served. All the different dishes brought big smiles to our faces and we were so full at the end…. Felt like we would have to roll all our way home thanks for giving us such a pleasant dining experience!

My husband and I had the 10-course menu and it was exceptional! The food exceeded all our expectations and EVERY dish was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. If this restaurant is not on your bucket list, it should be! The food, service and atmosphere was worth every krone. Hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had! Highly (highly! recommended!
