The food at this restaurant is excellent. Don't miss out on the beet salad and the sun-dried tomato pesto. The service is friendly and the atmosphere resembles that of a luxury hotel. View all feedback.
What Jasen Witting doesn't like about Auberge du Lac Saint-Pierre:
Furthermore, we were surprised to find a credit on our bill for one person in our party, without our prior knowledge or consent. We kindly request that this credit be transferred to the Friday Auberge Front Reception Staff as a gesture of gratitude for their genuine care, compassion, and professionalism. They went above and beyond in assisting us by recommending an open walk-in clinic for our daughter who had arrived... View all feedback.
We came here on a quiet off-season night (only 8 covers, it seems). We chose the menu which was very good. The only quibble was that the entrée was served on such small plates that it was difficult to eat. The main of duck was excellent but be aware that the chef-proprietor is French and the duck is cooked very rare, sanglant.
Great food, try the beets salad and the sun-dried tomato pesto. Nice service and looks like a nice hotel
Our group of 17 people had booked at the restaurant of the Auberge du Lac Saint-Pierre in Pointe-du-Lac for a birthday lunch. The restaurant placed us in a private room, separate from the main dining area, which was perfect as there were children in our group and we felt like we were not disturbing anyone. The food was well prepared with unusual delicious appetizers, such as a creme brulee of tomatoes and a smoked duck salad. The fish of the day was fresh and well presented. Those who had the guinea-fowl as an entree were very happy with their choice. For dessert, we had ordered a birthday cake which was fresh and artistically put together. Service was impeccable.
Loved everything that was served from appetizers to desserts. We all shared. Regular portions. Menu includes price from appetizer t OK dessert. Price is very reasonable.
Wonderful bakery/cafe that features local painters and photographers. The carrot cake is made from an old family recipe, and very tasty.
