Yorkeys Knob Takeaway - Trinity Beach

This Takeaway offers the best and most consistent quality of product and friendly service anywhere at the beaches in Cairns in my experience. Open all this Easter weekend 'do yourself a favour' you won't be disappointed ????

First time for us. Ordered barramundi and chips. Really lovely fish and the chips were great. Great for a quick bite. They were quite busy.

Staying around Yorkys on holiday we went for a walk and stopped at this little cafe on the beach for a light snack/lunch. They had a substantial fast food menu but we chose toasted sandwiches with coffee. We were even offered a choice of breads which was impressive.We chose to sit at the tables outside and watch the world go by, a nice way to pass the time on holidays.

Not normally an eater of fast food, I ate here with great reservation, but it proved to be a lot better than I expected.Was surprised to see that this place had a sign indicating that it had taken a place as one of the best fast food places in Cairns region the previous year. It was very clean and the burger was priced well and the chips were cooked so that they were tasty and not soft or too salty and greasy.The burger was actually looking quite healthy, with the lettuce and beetroot as well as carrot and other salad items.The cheese and egg may have been a bit much for the avid eater of health foods, but the pineapple was a nice touch. I must stress that it was a couple of years ago, so I cannot comment on the current state of the place, and the date range on here doesn't cover the period, so I have to put the closest approximate.

This place has a great selection of items on the menu. Pizzas are good lots of toppings and fish and chips are generous and not too greasy. Keen to try a burger next time.
