The food was really nice but we were naive in our English understanding so should have ordered sides to accompany as my dish was just meat. They were unfortunately sold out of the gnocchi I’d originally ordered. The home made deserts are lovely.

The place was full and I was the only foreigner. Everyone is looking for the perfect local spot: this is it. To get there, take the 2 or 4 bus to Opicina (about 20 minutes: the 42 is much slower). The bus stops right outside Max, immediately after the old tram terminus on the left.
