Pizza Zelig 72 - TRIESTE

We got take-away pizza's from this place a couple of times. They do very good pizzas, either by the slice or whole pizzas made fresh. A whole marinara pizza costs €3. They have a wide choice of toppings. As well as take-away, they also do free delivery on orders order over €5, and there are a few tables if you want to eat in. They also sell beers and soft drinks. Highly recommended. A little out of the centre of Trieste but still a short (up hill) walk. Near bus routes 15, 16, D 30.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! It 's off the beaten path in a little neighborhood of Trieste, close to where we stayed for 2 weeks. The pizza was SO good... with so many options. AND, you can personalize as you like. I think it 's a family-run place. Some of the workers spoke English and some didn 't... but we just pointed and options on the menu and used our Spanish, English, German... whatever. They were super patient and kind, and I think a little humored too, to have Americans in their shop. We went 4-5 times during our two week stay and tried a variety of pizzas. And, nothing can beat the price... most pizzas are in the €5 range. We ordered 3 for our family of 6 (children ages 6, 7, 15, 16 which tells you a bit about the sizes of the pizza. We ordered 4 once and it was just too much (which we still ate the next day! There are a few tables and chairs inside but we usually ordered and brought it home (which only took about 10 minutes at most . You should know that the pizza that says tutti di tutti means a little of everything and it really DOES have a little of everything! This is a definite gem!

Sono stato in questo ristorante di persona e ho anche provato il servizio di consegna a domicilio: il personale è sempre cordiale, rispondono subito al telefono e la consegna è veloce. Le pizze sono sempre gustose e ben farcite. Consigliato agli amici!

La migliore pizzeria di Trieste. Se vi piace la pizza alle melanzane e siete fan di Claudio Bisio, è il luogo che fa per voi!
