Pasticceria Caffe Pirona - TRIESTE

One of the nicest places to have your cornetto al pistacchio in Trieste. Beautiful interior, great dolci and friendly staff.

This Historic cafe has been back for a while now and I'm so glad about it. Cafe is good but make no mistake, you will come here for the pastries: the mignon with whipped cream are heavenly delicious and definitely my favourites. You can't go wrong choosing the maritozzo or the sacher though. The classic interior, which preserves the historic value of this cafe is a treat too. Highly rcommended, James Joyce would approve!

Nice renovation has just been finished and they've re-opened recently. You can find Triestino deserts as well as modernly designed deserts and chocolates. Croissants are delicious, liked it :

So to be clear this is hands down the best and nicest bakery/patisserie in the world. If you care for such things it was frequented by Joyce but more than that it looks so impossibly cute. Everything is great but the maritozzi are sublime. About 10 times better than anywhere in Rome. In case they sold them out come the next day. It’s that good.
