Young waitress in the first arms but kind thing not recently. Too bad for coffee a little expensive. € for a coffee seems too much. sin. So no one goes to drink at the bar with the payroll around.
Pastry bar nice center of Trieste in pedestrian area. excellent cappuccini and croissant. friendly staff and correct prices. It should be said that at the time they also offer dishes and salads with quality raw materials. in particular the first pasta or rice are always delicious, original and refined.
A little too chaotic inside, the quality of the products is good but the customers must be managed better.

We sat down for a beer a gin+tonic after some sightseeing. There was a table available we were served within a minute. We got our first order easily enough but had to wait try get another waiters attention for the second order which took several minutes. We also got a Canolli a white chocolate tart, the canolli was very good but the white chocolate tart was very sweet! The aperol spritz was tasty also.
Sunday 10:45 a.m. One overworked table waiter who was also required to serve customers inside shop. Many customers who came after me were served first. Waited 15 minutes to give order, another 15 and still no tea. Fed up, cancelled order and left. Old establishment which will not keep its reputation if not organised better and more staff put on during busy periods. Compare small cafe in Oatley, NSW, Australia. Half the size, 2 cooks and 3 4 waiters. Moral: don't sit down at Eppingers!
The best cafe in Trieste for an Aperol or Campari spritz. The atmosphere is great, the waiters are professional and friendly, and your drink comes with complimentary snacks
If it’s lunchtime and you want to be outside then I suggest you try somewhere else. The nearby main road makes so much noise. The staff seem to have other priorities also. I can’t fault the food though, and the coffee was very goo too.
I tried to buy some Crostoli, a sweet typical of carnaval. It was impossible to convince the unfriendly person in charge of the counter to give me anything that was not a -repacked 100 or 250 g bad, despite having an enormous tray to prepare any weight on demand. I am Spanish so I can made myself very well understood to an Italian speaker. In vain. All ugly faces and desdain. I gave up on the crostoli and bought some fritole instead as they were not -prepacked and could choose the amount. The inside of this so-called caffe is a rather non descript, shabby little space with counters on both sides so should you choose it for any reason, better to stay in the terrace outside. I always wonder how small business can afford to be unfriendly to customers, I guess the person who served me was an employee and one can bring the business down. Many other places in town, do your research.

They have the best Tramisu, we didn't try other desserts but it looked all delicious, the coffee was ok, the staff speaks English.
I really liked the cocktails, they have a great variety and they also brought us snacks
Extra rude waitresses. Waiting 10 min for an espresso. The worst bar experience in Trieste so far. Nice location, but the service is the worst!
Nice, decent. Speak Italian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and a little bit of English . You will drink good coffee and eat good Tiramisu here, for sure.
Our cappuccinos were not made with love...definitely anger. Waitress was not a happy person, and the cappuccino was bitter.

There should be a bar like this in every city! It is really fantastic, it has delicious pastries and you also eat very well. the decor is very nice and seems really to stay abroad...
Not so much choice of sweets but those that are really good, even eating is valid for a fast lunch. only flaw? the menu that changes periodically, I am abitudinaria:
A bar-shop that I was advised during my stay in Trieste and I always recommend to everyone. It is easy to reach because at the beginning of a pedestrian zone in the center of the city, in the car you have to park not far away. The environment is very well maintained even if a little tight, but in Trieste it is so. The croissants are very good and there is a wide choice of tastes. You can find the typical products of Trieste, such as the Trieste beans, as well as a wide choice of always fresh pastries. The tables on the outside complete everything to enjoy the best consummation.
