Very nice cafe. Good prices. Large selection of cakes
A sweet Saturday morning in the bloom of spring with my trusted friends. We were pampered by a very kind waiter with red hair and a captivating gaze. He was able to meet our every need with kindness and professionalism. My friend F and my friend GU ordered the cream krapfen: devastatingly delicious; my friend GC ordered a jam croissant: amazing; I (GB) ordered a classic croissant: very delicate. A Trieste experience to definitely repeat... but only with a waiter like him
Very nice, but unfortunately, prices are in line with Trieste's sadly touristy landscape. Interestingly, their presnitz costs €22 per kg at the supermarket, but here it's €36 per kg. Why?!?! It should be the other way around...
I went there one evening for an aperitif, a great experience! Good aperitif, friendly staff, and a very cute place. What more could you ask for?
One of my favourite cakes of all time putizza is made here and i travelled all the way here to buy it and take it home with me! The coffee was incredibly tasty and the dessert with pistachios and raspberry was so decadent and light i could eat twenty of them and not get bored. The gentleman who worked there was really attentive and answered all my questions with genuine enthusiasm if you have one stop in Trieste for coffee, let it be this one!

There should be a bar like this in every city! It is really fantastic, it has delicious pastries and you also eat very well. the decor is very nice and seems really to stay abroad...
Not so much choice of sweets but those that are really good, even eating is valid for a fast lunch. only flaw? the menu that changes periodically, I am abitudinaria:
A bar-shop that I was advised during my stay in Trieste and I always recommend to everyone. It is easy to reach because at the beginning of a pedestrian zone in the center of the city, in the car you have to park not far away. The environment is very well maintained even if a little tight, but in Trieste it is so. The croissants are very good and there is a wide choice of tastes. You can find the typical products of Trieste, such as the Trieste beans, as well as a wide choice of always fresh pastries. The tables on the outside complete everything to enjoy the best consummation.

We sat down for a beer a gin+tonic after some sightseeing. There was a table available we were served within a minute. We got our first order easily enough but had to wait try get another waiters attention for the second order which took several minutes. We also got a Canolli a white chocolate tart, the canolli was very good but the white chocolate tart was very sweet! The aperol spritz was tasty also.
Sunday 10:45 a.m. One overworked table waiter who was also required to serve customers inside shop. Many customers who came after me were served first. Waited 15 minutes to give order, another 15 and still no tea. Fed up, cancelled order and left. Old establishment which will not keep its reputation if not organised better and more staff put on during busy periods. Compare small cafe in Oatley, NSW, Australia. Half the size, 2 cooks and 3 4 waiters. Moral: don't sit down at Eppingers!
Eppinger has been in Trieste since 1848, when the city was part of the Hapsburg Empire. The style and food are more Vienna than Rome. We dropped in for tea and cakes. Over 20 different teas are available, with a wide range of cakes and patisserie to choose from. My two mini patisserie were very good, although not quite up to the fantastic standard of Stohrer in Paris. My husband thought his Apple Strudel good but rather bland.
I sat on a table waiting for 20 minutes. Then some other people sat around. The waitress came immediately...to them. So I asked if I can order too...she came after 5 minutes. I ordered a coffee which was ok, and a sandwich with prosciutto and mushrooms. The mushrooms were from a can!! Unacceptable for a 3 euros sandwich...
We came for some after dinner drinks and snacks to this traditional and modern cafe in the heart of Triest. Service personnel was very friendly and helpful. You have the best tramisu, we haven't tried any other desserts, but it looked delicious, the coffee was ok, the staff speaks English.
In this place you can enjoy a good Caffè as well as a great restaurant. I was there a few times to have a lunch, and I must say that the quality of the food was absolutely delicious. It is located near the center of Trieste. In summary, if you are around and want to have a good Caffè or a beautiful caffeine, you should try.
Stylish cafe with the best aperol spritz! Very nice cafe, wide variaty of drinks. Cool events organized frequently. Amazing staff, honest and friendly! I have lost my credit card which was found and safely given back to me! Highly appreciate their help and effort to make costumers happy! 5 stars place no doubt’s!
In the center of the city, it has 2 floors, outdoor seats and amazing poeole working within... just one place to go and have a taste of good coffee, nice drinks, delicious finger food and chilling music. It is not important to stop and pay the place once in the city or just for a break from the daily tasks!!!
