The restaurant is split into the bar and restaur... read more Came for dinner on a Sunday night upon recommendation by our farmstay host and what a wonderful evening we had. The restaurant is split into the bar and restaurant sections, hence you have to let them know where you want to be seated when making reservations (our host makes the reservation for us at the restaurant). Once we get seated, they served us w a glass of proscesco and gave us the English menu. We ordered the Cod in a pot, a Florentina steak (1.2kg bone in) and a Prawn Risotto for 2 for the 5 of us...all which are made beautifully, especially when paired w a glass of Arpepe Sassella 2022 Riserva. The service is outstanding with an English speaking staff making sure of our orders. We finished it off w a round of desserts, totally satisfied and glad we had our last dinner in Vatellina at Ca D'Otello. Had the privilege of meeting Peter, the owner on our way back. Highly recommended if you are ever in this area.

The food and service were excellent, so much so that we went back a second night even though we normally prefer to experience new places. Fantastic!

The universal view is that the food, wine, service and surroundings are excellent. Pietro is a wonderful host always suggesting something special and each visit is memorable. The meat dishes are always exceptional as is the pasta...the desserts are outstanding.

The chairs are slightly uncomfortable, you can just sit one hour and then you have to get up. Good and balanced cocktails, cutter with simple appetizers, price in the norm.
