Tracey's Kitchen - Trenton
Tracey's Kitchen
Description
Tracey's Kitchen serves soulful, home-style comfort food — think mac ’n’ cheese, fried chicken, cornbread and famously praised cabbage — with generous portions and heartfelt cooking. A cozy, small neighborhood spot near Trenton’s train station, it offers dine-in, phone-order takeout and lunch specials with wheelchair access. Most guests praise attentive service and consistent quality, though some note rising prices and occasional staff inconsistency. Still, this local favorite remains a go-to for classic, comforting plates.

It was me and my father’s first time visiting this location a couple days ago. I just happened to find it when searching for the nearest restaurant after leaving the train station. The food was great, we were both very pleased. I had mac n cheese/fried chicken/cabbage. My father had salmon/yams/mac n cheese. The place was peaceful and the people working there were very pleasant. 5/5 stars! If I’m ever passing through Trenton again I’ll be sure to stop by for a plate and I’d absolutely recommend it!

No doubt about it, this is truly the best soul food in Trenton—end of story. It took them a while to keep my cornbread available, but they’ve really improved. Seriously though, this place is definitely a local favorite. I even travel from Morrisville, PA just to enjoy their food. I just wish their hours were a bit different.
The food is delicious. You can tell the people making the food enjoy putting out quality products. It's refreshing to see people take pride in their work. I do have to try the cabbages, almost every customer walked in talking about those cabbages. Thanks Traceys Kitchen. Ask about the the lunch special.
I heard about this place and decided to cross the bridge to try them out. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was good and portions are generous but all options are not on display so ask what the specials are by calling ahead or asking. Much more was in the back. I hope they succeed ??. Not a huge spot but you can dine in as well. I would recommend Tracy's Kitchen if you enjoy good ol comfort food. I'm looking forward to trying something different. Cabbage very good.
