What Fern Decambra doesn't like about Real Fruit Bubble Tea:
I know it takes some time to make a smoothie here so I came 20 minutes before work and waited about 10 minutes for my smoothie. People who ordered after me were getting theirs before mine so I asked what was happening with mine. They hadn't even started to make it. Had to get a refund. Miserable day at work, I just wanted some lunch. They also only have the house made tapioca which don't taste as good. View all feedback.
Located on the main floor of the Oshawa Centre, this bustling bubble tea location is my go-to when it comes to mango slush. Their signature 'mango diamond slush ' has freshly cut chunks of mango inside. It 's truly an experience when you purchase a bubble slush here because you can clearly see the ingredients and freshly cut fruit while they prepare your drink. Did I mention the mangoes? There are mangoes everywhere and they taste sweet and ripe like you 'd expect. Perfection.Often busy, this location is no stranger to lines. They have tables, but you 'll mostly use them to sit and wait for your drinks and then leave; most people don 't seem to stay.Recently, they switched to 'fresh homemade tapioca balls ' instead of the more expected recipe. They are a light brown instead of black. This mistake cost the review an entire star since these lack the flavour of the old ones, and will turn into a glob in your drink if not consumed fairly rapidly. Frankly I hate them. Bring back the old tapioca or at least offer the option.Tapioca aside, this is my favorite bubble tea location in Durham, for now...
Most delicious Bubble Tea that I’ve had in a while!
I am regular customer, I never had a problem, the cashier and everyone is nice there but this time, the cashier was rude, I think she was new because I haven't seen her there before. When it was my turn, I waited and the cashier was acting like I was not there, after few mins, she told me to pay on the kiosk if not paying with cash. I don't understand why she didn't take my order when I was already there, telling a customer to pay on the kiosk when they waited in line is really rude. If I wanted to order from the kiosk, I would've not waited in line. And when I asked her question about the drink, she was making weird faces... I felt like just because I was wearing head scarf and face veil, because she took the order from people who were behind me. I found it very racist! The drink was very sweet, told them to put regular sugar, it's not my first time getting this drink, it tasted very sweet. Not coming to this location again..
