Followed by a half leg of roasted lamb that was superbly tender. My wife had melon and Iberian ham followed by steamed mussels. All very good and at a very reasonable price. Will return.

The potatoes in the escalivada were undercooked in parts. It would not be hard to fix this with a bit of attention to detail. Next I had mushroom canelonis. It seemed like came from a ready meal package from out of the freezer. The bread we were given was old. The crema Catalana that I got was nice but my wife ordered ice cream and was given a vienetta. I could have made better food at home. It is frustrating to find restaurants like this. They could simply copy the recipes and attention to detail of better restaurants. This kind of restaurant that generally has not bothered with its decor seems in Spain to also not put in much effort with its menu too. The conclusion I have reached is you should judge a book by its cover when it comes to restaurants in Spain/Catalunya. Also if it a restaurant gets less than 4.5 on TripAdvisor you should not really bother going to it.
