I'm amazed that this restaurant has remained a well-kept secret. On the rooftop of the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia you find this exquisite oasis. The beautiful terrace gives a perfect display of the sunset over the lake as you have your dinner. The prices are perfect (around 20/25€ for a pasta), and you really experience the best of Italian cuisine. Be sure to either indulge in the penne flambé in vodka or the strawberrie... What Rosiebriar doesn't like about Al Chiaro Di Luna:
This restaurant is that of the hotel Cadenabbia which I have just reviewed. I suspect that those on package holidays did not enjoy the same fare as independent travellers! View all feedback.
The setting is gorgeous. Our meal was excellent with complimentary prosecco and amuse bouche. Our dessert was berries flambé done at our table and was a brilliant end to special meal. It was quite expensive but definitely worth it. Service food and wine all faultless.

If you are a risotto lover like me, but strict about the perfection of the risotto consistence, I recommend you to try the risotto with gambas. Service is excellent.
