What long john doesn't like about Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse:
This might be the worst restaurant in Braintree. I was there March 23rd for my anniversary because I couldn’t make it to the city due to heavy rain. The food was horrible. We did not enjoy the app (meat ball and Philly cheesesteak) and the main course was even worse. My girl and I took maybe a bit eat for our food and was like no. $150 for our anniversary dinner. I'm not sure it lived up what I would expect for the cost. Staff was great but didn't give the wrote glove we had gotten before. So overall felt meh...

It was very overpriced for what we got. You can get a similar quality meal on the south shore for much less money. Ala cart side dishes for $15 each, which only serve one. So, $30 extra if you want a starch and a veggie. $600 meal for 4 people. The server was very unengaging. Very much an order taker. You expect friendly service from someone you have to leave that kind of gratuity for.

Very nice restaurant! Tenderloin doesn't need a crust! The meat was cooked perfectly except for the crust that just tasted burnt.
