There are a variety of fantastic drinks to choose from at this restaurant! They serve delicious and high-quality Madcap coffee. The idea of having a cafe and bar combined in one relaxed setting is a unique and enjoyable concept. It's convenient to be able to enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon or a coffee in the same location. We definitely need more places like this!
I love the cappuccino and croissants at this restaurant. The service is fast and they offer a wide variety of coffee drinks to choose from. The best spot to sit is outside on the sidewalk on Front Street. This is where all the action is happening.
I'm from a small town. I understand, not a whole lot of demand for our type. not a big thing. the vegan sandwich they offer is a pack in this green Frankenstein stuff. I owe you. it was a salate with hummus. I dug them apart from the packaging. I have chips and salsa for $4. ends up to tostitos salsa. I guess most of their things are being processed. from my 1 visit, I can suspect that they are first line a coffee shop that happen to make sandwiches. will I be back? there was only not much to get into tc while I was there. the cards with animals, as the other person mentioned, were not enough to please me. I suppose here is my lower line: if this place was in my city, I would never do it. the only reason I'd go back is if I go back to tc and need a quick solution. next visit in the north I'll bring my own food.
What is that? I had the very vegan. mine was grilled. I had not expected it to be grilled, but it was so fabulous! I think it's cold too. next time hungry b/c they had a very vegan suppe that I can't wait to try. they had baked at the counter of zaners vegan bakery in traverse city. they can no longer be local than that. I had their melass keks and carrot cupcake and omg them for dying! seriously, amazing.buD they have musical entertainment from time to time. board games on the back. Etch-a-Sketches. a small bar that they can bell at the front. service was fantastic. a very welcoming environment. this is my new favorite place.
4 of the 10 sandwiches they offer are vegetarian. only one is vegan. that said they are loud and proud with this a vegan sandwich! and that goes far into my book. Moreover, they are completely open to veganizing any of the other sandwiches or their salads. I had no time to ask if one of their suppen or baked goods were vegan. when they were vegan, they were not marked as those that are regrettable. at least they should always offer a vegan peanut butter cookie or something. I loved that after they give up their order, they give them a card with a pet on them instead of a number. so if their order is ready, they call out turtles or sea urchin. it was not clear to me whether they were recycled and/or composted. I haven't seen any recycling bins. all in all, brew is a wonderful addition to the tc veg-friendly restaurant scene. If I could combine the homemade vegan suppen and smoothies at the dish with the very vegan sandwich in brew, I would have the perfect traverse city withtagsplatz.
