Firefly - Traverse City
Firefly
Description
Firefly is a popular spot with great ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food. While some diners had issues with overcooked steaks, others raved about the sushi, potstickers, and cocktails. The modern and relaxing atmosphere, along with great views by the water, make it a lovely place to dine. The menu offers a variety of options, from sushi to burgers, all of which are highly recommended. The wait time can be a bit long, but the food is worth it. Whether you're looking for a casual night out with friends or a more upscale dining experience, Firefly has something for everyone.

We stopped here mostly for the small plates and we weren't disappointed. We got two different sushi rolls, potstickers, and sweet potato fries. Everything was good. The cocktails all sound good, and we tried the Blueberry Smash (which was great). The staff is really friendly and the place is clean. The ambiance is really modern and relaxing. It's in a good area... not far off the main shopping area on Front Street. It's on the water, and there are nice views from the seating by the windows. I'd like to go back and try some of their entrees. They also have a few (igloo) tables outside for colder weather, which would be fun.
Hide! the husband worked all day and was super hungry. this was a few miles from the hotel and so far firefly restaurant is the best we had here in traverse city. the man had a buffalo bacon burger, but he replaced the burger for huh. he was sooo happy. he loved the baked, deep-fried jalapeños that was on his sandwich. I had fish n chips. it was good. we'll go back to sandwich tomorrow.
The trüffelfries were so amazing! we loved the krabbensushi and burger. our server has also done an excellent work.
We recently dined at Firefly and had a great experience. My son and I both loved the NY Strip steaks—they were absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the Thai peanut noodles, and my other son was pleased with his Fish and Chips. The only downside was the long wait time—an hour, even on a Monday! Lol!
The food at this restaurant was outstanding. We started our meal with the beef skewers and tuna nachos, and shared a salmon entree. The beef skewers were especially delicious, while the tuna nachos and salmon were also fantastic. Although the rice was a bit mushy, it still had excellent flavor. Even though we waited about 30 minutes for our food, it was definitely worth it. The restaurant's atmosphere was wonderful as well.
