Schnitz Traralgon

Between the surly teenager rudely telling us that they don't sell a product they were promoting last week and another staff member heading back to the kitchen from the toilet without washing hands, we were disgusted by the service. Last time we visited the food was burnt, this time just plain awful. Never going to Schnitz again!

Have been to this restaurant quite a few times and really enjoy it each time. Keep it up. Now one can complain about the chips or the amount of food you get.

Since we have dined in a couple of other Schnitz restaurants in the past we decide to stop in this one for a quick lunch. Even though it’s a typical Franchise style of restaurant with measured ingredient’s, my American Dream burger was actually very good. Consisting of a Chicken Schnitzel, cos lettuce, tomato, onions, dill pickle a honey mustard sauce on a toasted bun, accompanied with fries. Partner had a Schnitzel and chips which was fair. Staff were very friendly a pleasant to deal with. If you need a hearty, but quick lunch stop, Schnitz is a good consideration.

I recently took my Grandson to Schnitz for dinner. Had booked a couple of days before to make sure we got in seeing they are only allowed 20 patrons at a time . It was good to see they were sticking to all the set Covid regulations. We had a table near the window which is also near the fire so it was very comfortable . The staff were friendly and soon had our meal on the table, The Grandson had the Itty Bitty Pack, chicken, chips, choice of sauce and a small juice, I had the schnitzel, chips side salad. It was all quite good, salad was fresh with a nice dressing and the chips are very tasty. We left their very satisfied. Walk past the place every day but this is the first time to have a meal, we will return. The main reason we tried it was that they support the Grandsons football club, good on them for that .

Food is always good, chips are awsome, cosy booths up the back, toilets are always clean, only downside is you can't get coffee there.
