I drove through the drive-thru and ordered the Carolina grilled chicken. I was the only car there, but unfortunately, the result was disappointing.

I occasionally enjoy going to HJ's, and it's usually a treat. Tonight, I had my usual BBQ cheeseburger meal. The burger was decent, but not as good as I expected. It looked and tasted average. However, the chips were terrible. They were extremely salty to the point where I couldn't eat them.

The staff in store were very helpful. I ordered through the app to customize our order and save time. It wouldn’t continue through the checkout process as something was wrong with the website. After trying 3 times to submit the order they put it through manually and it cost an extra $6.95 more than the app as they wouldn’t go out the specials on the app in store

We stopped by the service station to pump our tires and ended up getting a small cheeseburger to curb our hunger. It was decent, similar to burgers from other big chain restaurants. We paid $7 for two burgers. The interior was spacious and well-maintained, with a good number of customers even at 11am. The staff was friendly, and the parking lot was a good size. This place is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible.

First girl taking the order was extremely vague, paid by card and after the typical comment “PayPass?”, I replied “no insert thankyou, savings”. To which she starts chatting to her coworker behind her and promptly taps (PayPass) on my card. At the second window I was handed a drink that had been overfilled and had coke all down the side of it, I asked the girl for some napkins to clean it up, she seemed put out by my request. I left quite disappointed in the quality of service only to then realise once unpacking the bag there was a big hair on the chips.
