Started with a shared dish of two Tatars, Red Tuna and Swordfish. Then two Raw Red Prawns and Raw Scampi. My main was Swordfish with Smoked Mozzeralla, another wonderful dish. Great serice and value.

The place clearly valued freshly sourced produce, so by the time we bowled in, their menu had clearly taken a few big hits, and items kept dropping from it. Our beleaguered waiter had to return two or three times to apologise and ask us to order again. In the end (we were very hungry! We more or less said (in fractured Italian just bring us what you have. They did and it was superb! I'd love to tell you what we had, but I sort of list the plot part way through. Unctious pasta was certainly involved, as was a stuffed squid. We also had attentive service and plenty of help with the wine selection (our waiter actually directed us to a cheaper bottle because he reckoned it would work better The location couldn't have been better. So if you want to ensure access to the full menu range, consider avoiding last orders on a Sunday evening. If you like good good (and perhaps just a tingle of culinary adventure and uncertainty go right ahead. Either way, Loggia66 should definitely be on your Trapani shortlist which, given the abundance of fine good in this town, is no mean feat.
