The bar and restaurant team really st... read more During our visit to Waterford, we stopped by this hotel. The staff were friendly, courteous, well-mannered, and attentive. The bar and restaurant team really stood out. If I had one criticism, it would be that I preferred the previous menu, as the fish and chips aren't as good as they used to be. Nevertheless, it's a lovely place to visit.

The staff is exceptional, making the experience even better. After a morning of shopping at the boutiques in Waterford, it was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a nice meal. I ordered the roast beef, which was as satisfying as the dress I bought earlier. Treat yourself and enjoy a delicious meal by the sea.

For the... read more I ordered the spicy chicken wings with blue cheese sauce, the only option on the menu, but instead received very salty wings drenched in barbecue sauce. For the main course, we could only manage to eat half of it because it was extremely dry, leaving us with just the meat. The mashed potatoes and vegetables looked like they had been reheated multiple times. To top it off, the restrooms were not clean (especially considering COVID), with no soap available and overall very dirty. I definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived well done. The chicken wings I had for starters were lacking in flavor and barely had any meat on them. Overall, the food was disappointing. As for the decor, it felt tired and outdated, and the cleanliness left something to be desired. I would recommend looking for better dining options elsewhere.
