The item labeled as Steak Special, advertised as slow-cooked steak in Guinness on the menu, ended up resembling more of a stew than a traditional steak dish. This was somewhat misleading. The vegetables served on the side had a peculiar sour taste, which suggested the butter used on them may have gone bad. The restaurant has great steak and yummy desserts. It was much better than the reviews we had seen before eating there. We would recommend it.
Nice welcoming homely atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Great menu. I had the chowder for starter which was amazing and the John Dory for main course. I highly recommend both! I look forward to returning
I went here on St Patrick's Day for some lunch and drinks. Its a lovely pub with interesting decor. It was very busy but had plenty of serving staff and service was good. The food here is fantastic , I have had various dishes here, all are amazing. The owner Paul is amongst the most talented chefs in the world and runs a fantastic restaurant
