On a hot summer night, it was so relaxing to sit outside on the patio of the restaurant. Walled off from the street and any passing cars, it was nice quiet private. All in all very enjoyable. The food was fine too. View all feedback.
What Wayne S doesn't like about Arlington Bar:

The menu was great, tons of options.. However, my caesar salad was ordered with no bacon, but showed up with bacon. They replaced it. Then while eating it, found 2 pieces of bone in it. I pointed it out to the server, she asked me to place it on a napkin and she took it to the kitchen. She came back and asked if I wanted them to do anything about it or was I just informing them , which was odd. Normally restaurants would offer to do something about it, and I wasn 't trying to be difficult, so I paid the full bill. Probably will never eat here again.
We had two different recommendations to eat here. Definitely glad we did. I had an amazing seafood pasta. Oh what a yummy sauce and lots of seafood and a good variety Hubby had the greek souvlaki meal. Oh we were both stuffed. It'll be a place that we'll return to.
Be warned that this place is “first a bar, then a grill” as whoever monitors their Facebook messages told me. I was refused service at 6:00pm in the evening for wanting to drink some water and order a meal because I didn’t have my ID (my husband and I had walked from our home and I didn’t have my wallet on me. It was a busy night and I had been waiting around inside the restaurant at least 40 minutes before being made aware of this. I have eaten in this restaurant multiple times without being asked for ID so I was completely unaware that being 19+ was a legal requirement for dining in this place. Perhaps you need a sign making it clear that this is the case even if you don’t plan on drinking alcohol. Kind of confusing if your staff won’t be consistent in asking for ID every time someone eats here, or even for the times families with children have been seen eating in.
We ended up in Trail, BC over night and found this awesome bar grill on TripAdvisor that was some what close to the hotel. I can see why the locals seem to love this place. Chloe was our server. She was awesome! So friendly and caring. We just adored her and it seemed like all the locals did as well. We didn't deal with anyone else but all the servers seemed to be laughing and having a great time! The whole place had a fun vibe. old license plates and things on the walls. Wish I could have taken pictures. They had the game on the tv's, keno and pull tabs and other online poker games. Such a fun place. the food was awesome The Monte Cristo and the Roast Beef Dinner had amazing flavour. They portions were huge for the low price. Amazing fluff Yorkshire. No lumps in the potatoes. Just perfect! The Cookies and cream cake was amazing. If we lived in Trail I would eat here weekly.
