Contribute Feedback What Sharon Johnston likes about Hot Spot Diner:
Our first visit was a bit disappointing (because it was closed for renovates for quit awhile) but did not look like everything was done. Service was good, fish and chips was excellent it took a little while but it takes awhile to get good fresh food. My only wish was that the renevations were complete but I would definitely return, I may not eat in but I would take out. Therefore i would say I was mostly satisfied. View all feedback.
What Blake Verhelst doesn't like about Hot Spot Diner:
Ok....where to start. First off, they’ve moved to Fruitvale. Second the place is now called Isabella’s. They’re in the Villager hotel, but the owner still called it the hotspot. Even the menu had Isabella’s written on it...a little confusing I must admit. Ambiance was quaint, and clean. But when we got there there was one woman cooking, cleaning, AND waiting tables. The foods average nothing to write home about, but... View all feedback.

The foods average nothing to write home about, but I think overall I need to catch them on a better day. I get the feeling this place has potential, but the owner might be giving up a little. Again, this is a FIRST impression, however not a great one.
Food really lacking taste. The special I ordered had not a single veggie on the burger. Fairly slow to the table. Inside was unkept. Dirty tables. Stuff floating around in the vinegar. All in all bad experience. Won't go back.

Food was good for the price, but a little slow to the table. Fries where not the best but the juicy paddies on fresh local buns made up for it. I would definitely go back as there are other appealing items on the menu.
Remember when you went on a road trip with your parents and stopped off at your favorite burger place on the way to your cottage? The Spot is that Place!!! If you want healthy food like lettuce than this place is not your place. Only big greasy burgers and heart attacks on a plate with great taste are whats served here. Get in and get er done!
