A hidden gem! The food was delicious and served hot. The curry goat was a bit spicy for my taste, but I’m not very tolerant of heat, and it was still wonderful. My partner enjoyed it as well! With an empty plate and a satisfied appetite, we will definitely be returning! View all feedback.

Proper traditional fire Jerk chicken. The smile put on my face with the heat that come from the Jerk chicken was enlightening. You don’t get proper spicy Jerk chicken no more but this place does. Respect Jamie. The curried goat was also beautifully flavoured and had a kick and the beef stew delightful. A hidden gem with no frills but bags of flavour. I can’t wait to return. This is the best Caribbean food in Manchester (besides grandma’s of course). Couldn’t meet a more friendly shop owner in your life, service with a smile. Highly recommend the curried chicken. The curry goat was served cold, the rice and peas were undercooked, and there were no steamed vegetables. The chicken was dry, tough, and lacked flavor. They were also out of jerk chicken. This restaurant only accepts cash. I would recommend going to Cool Running in Old Trafford or Levenshulme instead. Overall, a disappointing experience.
I spent £15 for two meals the chicken was re cooked I don’t know how many times burnt on the outside and dry on the inside and just coverd in jerk sauce but the jerk sauce was off too very bitter n sour tasting not happy at all and after eating I feel very hot not nice
I drove 5 miles to get takeaway jerk chicken and it was definitely worth it. This was the best jerk chicken I have ever had. The food was of excellent quality, with generous portion sizes, and the friendly chef/owner cooked everything to order. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
I found this little gem tucked away on the estate next to old Trafford, which is close to my work, and have not looked back since. I’ve tried various different establishments around Manchester and to date this has been the best jerk chicken that I have found. The guy who runs it, seemingly on his own as well, is great. Admittedly I need to try a few of the other dishes as to day I have not been able to no order the jerk chicken!
Order a mutton curry, goat curry and southern fried chicken with a jerk sauce. Absolutely loved all the food. There will be bones in the curry’s but so there should be in Caribbean cooking. Sauce has some kick but doesn’t kill you and the homemade coleslaw was delish. Spot on and loved by all. Will be revisiting soon.

We have travelled all over for good Caribbean food but this is the only place we're getting our takeaways from now. The oxtail is superb, as is everything else. I'm a big fan of jerk and the flavour of the jerk from Yeah man..... I'm salivating thinking about it! Spicy and sharp, it's the best jerk I've had. Ever. It's beautiful. Nice man as well so you can't go wrong.
The food was delicious! The portion sizes were generous, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I can't wait to go back!
This is the best Caribbean takeout I've had—nothing else even comes close. The jowl and the noodles are absolutely perfect. If it weren't so far from where I live, I'd eat here every week!

I was in many Caribbean restaurants in a lot of places and this is the best thing I came across a real hidden gem that the owner is also such a cool guy!
