The set menu offered at this restaurant is a great value for the price. I made a reservation in the morning and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also tasty, with a wide variety of options and everything was served hot. View all feedback.
What John Robinson doesn't like about Bowdon:
meals that we hardly touched as they were that bad, staff seemed busy doing nothing and took more than minutes to get the bill with less than people in the restaurant. View all feedback.
Beautiful meal with attentive staff, lots of wine and service was good, nice atmosphere and relaxing. recommend the garlic mushrooms for appetizers
Restaurant reviews in hotel establishments tend to be expensive and formal, but not this one. The staff was pleasant, the menu was small but reasonably priced, and the quality of the food for one, two, or three courses was excellent. Everything we ordered was well-prepared, although the drinks were a bit pricey. Overall, it's definitely good value for the money, worth trying out without having to venture further.
I attempted to order fresh eggs after mentioning to the staff that my dish was cold. They took the eggs back, microwaved them, and the yolks were as hard as boiled eggs and the bacon was not cooked either. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.
Eating was okay, but every cure took old and old to come. we book that it is now and we are still waiting for our pudding.
Lovely fresh food, and service was really good, free wine with meal made it even better. Would definitely recommend.
