However, this cozy restaurant offers a simple and affordable meal option. The chef was very welcoming and accommodating, even preparing some extra dishes to take out when we mentioned how challenging it was to find vegan meals. It's worth noting that the restaurant can be a bit hard to spot despite being at ground level. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Kinosaki! Updated review as of November 6, 2023.

I visited the restaurant twice, once for drinks (Müllewein) and then the next day for lunch. Both times, I had the vegan beans Curry. While it was more of a stew than a traditional curry, it was exactly what I needed on a chilly winter day. The accompanying salad was also surprisingly fresh and tasty. Additionally, there was a daily vegan dish available that is prepared fresh each day. The coffee was also surprisingly delicious.

I visited twice, once for drinks (mulled wine) and the next day for lunch. We both tried the vegan beans stew, which was perfect for a cold winter day. The side salad was also surprisingly delicious. The other vegan option was a daily special made fresh each day. The coffee was also surprisingly good.
