I had a terrible experience at Cliff's Diner today. I arrived at 11:00 to find the dining room nearly empty. The waitress, whom I assume was new, greeted me loudly with, "Are you alone?" After that, she seated me at a small table in the corner, despite the fact that 90% of the tables were unoccupied and it was between breakfast and lunch. Good breakfasts with hearty portions and reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly and they are happy to accommodate large groups. A good place to go with family and friends.
My husband and I love their vermonter, garden scramble and sweet Portuguese French toast. Small place so can be tough to get a table at times.

Good food and very good service. Nice, local breakfast place with good coffee. I wish they had crepes on the menu.
Cliff's Cafe, hands down, has the best breakfast in the area. Their homefries are amazing, not dry and tasteless like some other places, and are cooked golden brown. They add onions, too....which is sooo good. Their eggs benedict are always cooked perfectly and they have REAL hollandaise. If you like corned beef hash, order it well done. My only wish is that they'd offer eggs scottish, with smoked salmon.
