We heard good things about the prime rib on Saturdays so made sure to stop in for a nice Saturday dinner. Got in at 5 and the crowd starting coming in shortly after. The bartender was a hoot of a time and mixed a mean old fashioned. Prime rib was under $20 and fried chicken with soup and fries was under $10. Husband also had the prawns which he said were really delicious but not sure the size was worth the extra $9 f... View all feedback.
What Incineration Henry doesn't like about Rugger's Landing Bar Restaurant:
Pretty good food. I would otherwise rate this 4 stars, but we literally had to wait 3 hours to be served. I can give the restaurant a bit of slack, because it's a local place, but not too much. At least there's free wifi View all feedback.
Fish fry was super tasty and not your average batter, but waited two hours to be seated. Service was confused and unprepared.
Great bar, great food, great atmosphere and great people. Other than that, it is a great place! Give it a try.
Found this place on our way skiing in the U.P. We stop every year now. Great pizza, owner is friendly and remembers us each year.
The only place in the Northwoods that has handmade pizza which is pretty good
We go Wednesdays for ayce pizza. Decent pizza for the Northwoods, but the drinks are made the old way-no mixes and they are tasty, especially the Tom Collins. It's the best I've had and no one makes it like their bartender. The best I've had.
