It has that authentic up north vibe combined with incredible BBQ. We each ordered the Firebird sandwich, and I can honestly say it's the best turkey sandwich I've ever had! I'm eager to go back and sample more of the menu. I just wish we had discovered this place on our first night at the Twin River Resort. Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is pleasant, with a dining area that is separate from the bar area.

Jim and the others shined the moment we walked in. They were friendlyand took the time to treat us like locals (even though we aren't). Beverage prices were great, $2 $4 for soda, mixed drinks,domestic beer, and a watermelon Red Bull one of my sons just had to have The 16 pizza we ordered was fantastic, and it wasprobably the best I've had in the Mercer/Manitowish Waters area in the past 20 years. It was less than $20 and we took a thirdof it home with us to munch on later. And it was Super Cheesy! So cheesy that I dropped the first few pieces of the pizza in mylap when trying to Houdini the cheesy stringiness with my plate. I highly recommend The Lazy Ace Saloon if you are looking forgreat atmosphere, great hosts, great prices, and a great bite to eat.

As a chef , it's very very cool to stumble into a diamond in the rough thats unexpected and this place had it all. Jimmy the owner/chef hadserved up the best wings I've personally had ever had and his front of house staff was kind, insightful and polite. The menu wasnothing shy of someone who cares about their customers, experience, and goes the extra mile to make them feel full and satisfied. 100% recommend and 100% will be back!! Thanks guys. <3
