What RobS doesn't like about The Homestead Lounge At The Eldred Preserve:
Our server Matt provided outstanding service, exceeding our expectations in every way. Regarding the food, there were some hits and misses. I chose the chicken parmigiana, while my partner opted for the ravioli. Unfortunately, the chicken parmigiana didn't quite hit the mark it was overly dry and chewy. The sauce also left something to be desired, dominated by a strong, earthy oregano flavor that was a bit too intens... View all feedback.
We went during a snowstorm and were the only party that had not cancelled our reservations. Despite being the only table in the entire restaurant (there were not even any guests in the adjoining hotel), we were welcomed graciously. The food and service were excellent. We were not rushed at all. A very enjoyable experience.
Overall, we really enjoyed. The food and ambience was amazing. The service was a bit off, but I'm chalking that up to it being New Year's Eve. We'll certainly be back.
The Homestead at Eldrid Preserve was a delightful dining experience. Showed up for our 7:30 reservation and was seated within minutes. Our waitress super friendly and efficient. She was by our table moments after we sat down. Took our drink order right then , no waiting as we have at other restaurants. Our food came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. It was such nice experience from booking reservations on OpenTable to the entire dining experience. We'll be recommending to others and will be back ourselves.
I've been a few times. Nice place and ambience. I tried the pork tomahawk thinking like most high end restaurants it would be tender any boy was I wrong. It was tough, dry and I couldn't eat more than a third before I gave up. Don't order that dish.
Since we had a small group for Thanksgiving, we decided to go out to dinner rather than cook. The restaurant is beautiful and the service outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their food, from appetizers to dessert. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the ambience. Will definitely go back again.
