I have to say I was excited for something new coming to Coxsackie, but I have to go over Simone's. Everything was fresh to not mention delicious. The guys behind the counter, where attentive and friendly even with a line to the door. The prices are great. I wish you good luck and here is Coxsackie to make your home for a long time!!! Wonderful food! I love Mediterranean foods but hate to choose between them. If you come here, though, you can have glorious combinations of hummus, tabouli, dolmades, souvlaki, etc., all in one bowl. This is a GREAT addition to the Greene County restaurant food scene.
It doesn't have to be exaggerated. I had lunch today. A great addition to our community. The falafel bowl was delicious. Delicious Baba Ganoush. Pita was there. The rose water was also great. The prices were perfect. Definitely recommend.
Simone was worth waiting! The food is tasteful, fresh and filled. The owners seem to be wonderful, friendly people. I had the meatball bowl as suggested and it was delicious. And prices are very reasonable. I had a big bowl and a sparkling water for $10. Run... don't run... and visit this great place today.
Stopped to pick up dinner tonight (a nice line was already formed and that’s so great to see!! ordered the Meatball bowl and the falafel bowl (he gave me a couple pieces of chicken to try as well SO good if you like Mediterranean Food, you’ll love this new place. Coxsackie is so lucky; what a great addition!
Absolutely amazing! Had the souvlaki bowl and the beet lemonade, both were so good! I’ll definitely be back. I also have a really bad gluten allergy and there was a lot of options! Highly recommended!
