I recently had brunch at NewYork restaurant with my wife, mother, great aunt, and her daughter. This place truly exceeded all expectations, from the live singer playing guitar to the decor, waitstaff, and delicious food that was clearly crafted with love and attention to detail. We chose to dine here because 62 years ago, my great aunt worked as a waitress at this restaurant and it's also where she met her late husband, who passed away a couple of months ago. Thank you to everyone at NewYork restaurant for a memorable experience.

I was disappointed in my meal. I ordered a pork schnitzel dinner. The mashed potatoes were good. Unfortunately, the large piece of pork was very fatty and tough. I prefer quality over quantity.

Great food, great atmosphere. I tried it once and it was definitely different but good!!! Never had polish food before, but it was very tasty. The waitress that was helping us was attentive and on point. Even had a chance to meet the owner Natasha. Very nice woman. If you?re in Catskill and you want to know what polish food taste like I would recommend The New York Restaurant.

The restaurant is absolutely delicious with great service, making for a lovely evening. There is a small corkage fee of $15, but it is worth it if you bring a fancy bottle. On Tuesdays, they offer $5 margaritas with tacos. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the wild foraged mushrooms added an excellent flavor to the dish.
