What Arun doesn't like about Melt:
Where's the meat? The crab melt came with the promise of 4 oz of crab meat, which is why I bought it. They even had a picture with a roll overflowing with crab meat. Except, what I got, looked nothing like that. It had, at best, two ounces of crab meat. Other places which served crab sandwiches came with much more crab meat and charged the same as these guys. I would highly recommend this for a lunch spot! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We highly recommend the crab roll and the caprese sandwich!
Melt has the best grilled cheese maybe ever. The food was absolutely delicious! I got a Philly and my partner got a Buffalo sandwich. We couldn't decide which one was better! The food was served to us very quickly. The seating inside isn't great, but there are lots of places to eat outside nearby. Next time we're in Bar Harbor we'll be back!
Great place for quick bite while spending a day in Bar Harbor. Best way to describe the food, is gourmet grilled cheese or panini. Food is excellent and comes out quick.
A little bit cramped especially when it's busy but the location is very small so that cannot be helped. The food does make up for it though, I got a crab melt while my boyfriend had the bacon melt and we would honestly come here and get it again, it was very delicious!
