What janet linde doesn't like about Benchwarmer Grille:
Picked up 3 taco salads to go. Shells were broken, mostly lettuce, no tomatoes, meat and cheese were small to say the least. Talked to staff and told them don’t serve this as takeout! What a disappointment Food: 1 View all feedback.
Order the fish fry with Phil's secret breading. Best I have ever had.
The bartender is incredibly rude. I will never go back. I'd recommend heading further down the street to Good Ol' Days or Tower Cafe depending on what you're looking for. Didn't even get drinks or food.
We never truly had a waitress, the ones we could catch never talked to us. It was like we were an inconvenience. *edit in response to owner....nope no nachos for us, three meals. Hope your service gets better!
When you think North Woods sports bar, this is exactly what you have in mind. We stopped in during a rather busy time but was able to grab a nice shady spot on the deck so our dog could join us. And while the servers were slammed they were all in a good mood and 30-minutes after we ordered our food came out. They did a great job of keeping us hydrated and with a playground and a locomotive out back, the kids had plenty to do while we waited.
Waited 30 min. No service. Went to Vermilion Club it was awesome. 2 days ago we got cherry dip sticks they were rancid .we threw them out.
