Was Anonym at Zengi a mag?

really nice restaurant. we fought to find vegan food in the opposite, and this restaurant was perfect for us. They offered a fantastic customer service to change items for us when needed. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Zengi:

Awful, terrible service!. Hi went here on as a party of people (prebooked in advance) after hr mins with no food and only water when asked several times, we were forced to abandon the place. Complete shambles, people waiting for ages screaming for food and one person served deep frozen pitta bread with hummus. Basil Fawlty does Persia View all feedback.

I frequently struggle between two different sides of myself. One part is very energetic, restless, and always eager to go out, see new things, and try new experiences. This side of me is always thinking "I can sleep when I'm dead!" or "I'm young and living in London, I should be out dancing on a table right now!" or "Why haven't I tried that trendy restaurant yet? I need to live life to the fullest!"

I visited this Turkish/Syrian/Iraqi restaurant on a Sunday afternoon with my sister. The atmosphere was relatively quiet. The menu featured mainly Turkish dishes with a few Iraqi options. I didn't see anything specifically labeled as Syrian, but I may have overlooked it. We ordered two starters to share before our main courses. I had the 'Zengi special' Haleb Kibbeh, a Baghdadi dish, while my sister chose the grilled Halumi with salad. For our mains, my sister had the chicken shish and I opted for the Arbil Kofta Shish Kebab, a lightly spiced lamb mincemeat kebab, another Iraqi specialty. Everything arrived hot and delicious as requested. The starters were fantastic, especially the fried mincemeat and parsley balls with rice shells. The mains were cooked perfectly, with juicy chicken and lamb. The dishes were served with rice and salad. The waitress also brought chili and garlic sauces, as well as complimentary Turkish bread. The total cost for two starters, two mains, and two drinks was £32, or £16 per person, which I found to be very reasonable. The decor in the downstairs toilets was romantic and authentically Turkish. I am looking forward to sitting downstairs on my next visit. Overall, I was very pleased with my dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be returning. 5/5.

After reading rave reviews by Time Out a couple of weeks ago, Dr G and I decided to visit this newly opened Turkish/Iraq restaurant on Commercial Street, E1. I normally go to Green Lanes, particularly “Antepliler” for my fix of Turkish food, but we were c

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy delicious Middle Eastern cuisine and flavorful sheesha. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is lovely and the interior is beautiful, making you feel like you're not in the busy city of London. The customer service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The sheesha is also fantastic for fans of it. The only downside is that you'll be sitting on the main road with constant traffic passing by. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely return and recommend it to others!

We only dived for a little afternoon snack where I ordered the chicken wings from the hot Mezze menu. they were fantastic. three whole wings (both drum and flat) for 4 pfunds. in a mild paprika chased with dry ruby and grilled for perfection over charcoal. smokey and succulent. the court was erdizzed with a small crushed iceberg, gurke, tomato and petersilie, with granatapfel melasse vinaigrette. impressive love to detail for a humble little court. the service was fast.
