Saw this place on TripAdvisor with great reviews decided to walk 15min from Canary Wharf for breakfast. Glad we did. Fab Coffee, breakfast, service price. £10 per head for cooked breakfast, toast 2 coffees. One of us was low carb, no problem and was asked what extra protein they would like instead. 2 min walk to Thames path too.

Now under new ownership and even better than before. We had brunch there on a week day and went back for lunch at the weekend. The menu has an excellent selection of traditional Italian meals and snacks, all made to a high standard and accompanied with Italian wine, beer and coffee. This is added to daily with a range of homemade pastas and desserts. Portions are generous and prices are great value for money. Mario and his staff are friendly and welcoming and working hard to build up up the business after it was closed due to covid just after he took it over in February. The interior has been upgraded and facilities are spotlessly clean. The large outside area shaded by trees and brightened with geraniums, allows for plenty of social distance. It is now also open on Sundays. A great local cafe.

Really enjoyed the food, we had breakfast and tea time italian meals with drinks over a 4 day period, all very reasonably priced. A great atmosphere with friendly staff. Marios cafe is a little hidden gem of a place a short stroll from Westferry Premier Inn and near the Thames . Breakfast is good the coffee is great and I noticed very well priced. The pasta there is sublime. I would recommend finding it sit outside weather permitting there are seats inside. Good glass of wine and Italian tasty meal simply bliss.
