This is a lovely pub and very small so why do you insist on having the music on so loud. Honestly its impossible to hold a conversation at a normal level. Last night exhausted at having to shout at each other me and my friend...gave up and left. Would of happily stayed longer but just couldn't be bothered. Why do you do this. Tucked away just up a side street off Brick Lane, this unspoilt East End gem is well worth seeking out. It has a very lively and friendly atmosphere, very well run with a small range of well kept beers. At busy times expect to stand,...but don't let this put you off. This is most definitely a drinking pub, not a food pub, and all the better for it!

A small east end pub. Good service and good beer (I like the Doom Bar personally) Ideal for a few pints before finishing the evening with a Brick Lane curry.
