I recently attended the London Coffee Festival at The Truman Brewery and I was blown away by the size of the place. I highly recommend this event for an amazing experience! There were so many free samples and an abundance of delicious coffee to purchase. I particularly enjoyed the special natural and honey coffee varieties. I ended up buying 7 different types of coffee! Brick Lane might be best known for Indian food but come down The Boiler House at weekends for great, good value street food from all over the world. We particularly like Eithiopiques, lovely vegan food but there are other good choices for veggies. If you're there late in the day prices are reduced so the food is even better value.
On one of the hottest evenings of the year we visited the Free Range Graduate show private vies. It was like an oven inside the gallery and no air conditioning . The show was good the hospitality poor and the amount of people was massive. The heat made it unbearable , we could only mage about an hour and a half then we just had to escape into the fresh air. A disappointing first time visit. I'm sure that there is more to see, its just we did not find it this time.

In the heart of the Brick Lane area is the Old Truman Brewery, which has now been converted into a food, drink shopping venue.We visited during the day. Really interesting shopping, fab food to try some great street art. Really cool happening place to visit.
