Here it is like something they need in their lives. amazing, on the river, after the sound of the waters, dream another time in which the man's and the nature are just one thing. a place where you can't escape, lost in a dream. simply perfect place, beer, eat, people. my heart is here.

Lovely pub with a great riverside view. I’d like to come back to spend some more time in here. The pub has retained its traditional appearance. May it never change.

We came for Gandalf ; but stayed for surprisingly good food which we did not expect tbh. We had the seafood platter for two, all fresh and tasty with crunchy fries. For me the pub definitely has a very authentic british pub atmosphere. Would definitely go there again and enjoy a Guinness and the great river views.

The Grapes what a lovely little pub this is. Now it’s not just any pub it belongs to Sir Ian Mckellen. That’s right you read that right. Such a lovely narrow downstairs pub with small Thames-side terrace with an upstairs restaurant, dating all the way back to 1583. Stunning food and a wide selection of drinks. Very friendly staff and snug seating areas. When I’m back in London I will definitely be revisiting here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
