I went to lost village and I had it the maruenge sausages The bread was straight from the bag nice and cold The pickles onions were tasteless and the master piece was the wilted greens he just put that in a pot without salt, pepper, oil, butter he pretended it to warm them up and after 10 seconds plate them they were really crunchy cause they didn 't even washed them pure soil and cold The chef did not even use gloves... This little spot in Whitechapel (very near the tube station which has the new Elizabeth Line to Bond Street in 10 mins, Heathrow in around half an hour is a little gem has heaps of quirky charm and bundles of energy coffee is great and you can get packets of good stuff to have at home fresh food for a snack or something more substantial. Can sit inside or out, most people are on takeaway dash some of the regulars are happy to chat. Staff are friendly
We only had coffee but it was independent barista style .. a mighty fine coffee. We sat in the small quirky inner space to have a short break . The staff were nice
Best coffee in South east London I’ve had, lovely food, great staff- can’t beat it! Good price for the quality you get
I have been a semi regular weekend customer here now for about 7 months. Three or four of us come here for breakfast and also lunch whilst working in the hospital over the road. This is a great place to sit and chat over a great coffee. The two young ladies who are normally there are very friendly, funny and also passionate about making coffee, which makes a refreshing change. To top it off, there is also a selection of good food.

Nice way to think
Lost Village offers a mixed bag of experiences, with some dishes falling short of expectations. Diners noted unseasoned, poorly prepared food that detracted from their overall enjoyment. In contrast, Mouse Tail Coffee, a beloved local spot, fosters a sense of community with its warm staff and a cozy atmosphere. While most patrons praise the delicious coffee and tasty food, recent feedback highlights inconsistencies in customer service, specifically from a few baristas who exhibited less than friendly attitudes. Nonetheless, regulars appreciate the charm, creativity, and delicious offerings that make Mouse Tail a staple for many in the area.

The coffee is consistently excellent and the service is always friendly. This restaurant is definitely the top choice in the E1 area.
Great little shop and nice staff. Happy to recommend, but the recent price rises have forced me else where
This is a coffee shop that comforts me! Milk coffee is better than prufrock and watchhouse. Needless to say, it is of a high level. (And the production is very stable, what’s going on)
The customer service at this restaurant is excellent. The staff, including Ella, Sabrin, Joe, and a special mention to Yara, are all amazing. They always take the time to ask about your day and make fantastic coffee. The food is also delicious.

This small coffee shop is an absolute gem along the whitechapel road. it is between the general ones the shops are embedded and it is really a joy to find a non-chain coffee shop that is completely independent and amazing coffee to great trips there is a small sitting area, but in the rule it is only really big enough to take away, but well worth visiting!
This is a very small and cozy spot just two steps from Whitechapel Station. They serve an enticing selection of coffee and cold brews sourced from various parts of the world. I absolutely love it here, and the music selection is excellent too!
Open to the street with limited seating coffee bar which also has an excellent range of high quality teas and a small range of pastries and treats. Top staff. For oat milk they use Oatly Barista.
A charming little café nestled along the bustling streets. The staff was friendly and well-informed, making the experience enjoyable and memorable for all customers. I would highly recommend this place. The coffee was simply outstanding!
