I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant for a farewell meal. Despite not being a fan of Donald Trump, I have to say that if he were to build a wall around this restaurant, I would gladly provide my services for free to prevent the spread of fake Mexican food from this establishment. The food was delivered on time by Deliveroo, but I immediately regretted my decision when it arrived in generic yellow polystyre... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mexican Grille:
I visited this restaurant shortly after it opened years ago, possibly during Ramadan. I distinctly remember a situation where the service was very poor. We had consumed 80% of a bottle of water, which the waiter claimed was their premium brand and had been given to us by mistake. He insisted that we pay for it or he would take the bottle back. It was not our fault that he had brought us the almost empty bottle. View all feedback.
I live with my family we have mex mix platter his was very test we all enjoy service was excellent! we will go back
Mex-Cajun Half Chicken w/ Cajun Sauce, Coleslaw Steak Chips: £7.95 To start with, the presentation looked amazing! It looked so appetising but I've got to say, as pretty as the coleslaw looks, it wasn't very practical eating-wise. So the chicken was delish! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It was quite flavoursome too. In terms of the chips they were crispy as chips should be. The service took very long and was pretty chaotic. So, if you're looking for a meal which is tasty and one you won't mind waiting for, this would be a recommendation. Foodie.007 x
I'm not really an expert on Mexican but I have always liked this place generally. Last time I went was again on a cheat day and I craving one of their starters rather than mains which was the cheesy chilli con carne fries. The cheese oozes in between the mince meat and chips with another cheesy sauce on top and the jalapeños just tops it off. They have burgers and some steaks on the menu on top of the normal Mexican fare. The food I doubt will blow many people's minds but is a hunger buster and worth a go.
I visited this restaurant around early summer this year, its very easy to get to from either Stepney Green station, Whitechapel station or Mile End station all within walking distance. Now to cut straight to the point, the food was not up to my standards, as I was expecting to taste authentic Mexican food, instead I was disappointed with Mexican food which tasted very much like curry. The drinks could have been better for mocktails, as I tasted better. This would not be my first place to recommend for Mexican food however if you like your food which taste like curry then you will enjoy the food. In addition staff customer service was not great, which could be greatly improved. The...read more
A True Mexican Experience I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This is not your typical Mexican food, but so much better. The service was impeccable, the ambiance of the restaurant is comfortable and pleasant. I had the Mexican fajita and guacamole as appetizer. Everything was delicious and I felt like having dinner in a real Mexican restaurant. The margarita was terrific, you should definitely try it. Initially looking at the menu, I thought prices were high but in the end the bill was good. It’s about £15/20 per person. I look forward to returning to this restaurant.
